For the Boys: Missoni Fall12

Don't you love a boy in a sweater? Well I know I do, especially said boy is a model and said sweater is a luxurious vintage hue Italian heritage masterpiece. Milan fashion week continues, and seen slinking down the Missoni runway were some great colour combinations and easy dressing; it's as if Angela went rifling through a few of London's most coveted vintage bins for inspiration. I'm always a sucker for a saturated wine tone, and the light ochre brown paired with bottle ink green is great...

Love the peek-a-boo knit panelling on the jackets and suits. A great way to add the Missoni signature.

The crochet tops were interesting. Granny's side-table chic? I can't wait to see how they are interpreted on the streets by the style savvy.

Pearly knits in soothing blues.

All in all, the collection was wearable and nostalgic. Nothing too avant-garde or risqué, but sometimes all you really want is a boy in a nice cozy sweater to warm up to.
